Clay County is a nice place, but there really is not a lot of things you can do here. There is the Golden Delicious Apple Festival, but the rides are more set for little children and the activities are scarce.

In Dixie, WV there no major retail stores. There is a family owned Mullins Grocery, Mullins Feed and Hardware, Elswicks that sells home supplies, kind if like a mini Lowes, and Klonchs Saw Mill. Everyone around here knows everyone and it's a low populated area.
The upsides are I've always felt safe in my own home. The downsides are there aren't as many opportunities for a career.
