If you want to love where you live, move to Clarke County VA. Clarke is a small rural town where community is everything. Clarke is very stuck on keeping its hometown feel and is a great place to grow up. If busy streets and night life is your thing you're in the wrong place. Many of Clarke's business are locally established taking small business support to a new level. The best part of this town are the people. Here being a good neighbor goes without saying and extends to a simple wave as you pass strangers. The running joke is that there are more cows than people (and it might be true), but the people we do have are the best on earth.

I have lived here all my life, and it is one of the cutest and most family oriented towns. Although it is small and only has 1 high school, everyone is super close. When you walk through town or drive around, everyone's face is familiar. Strangers become friends and friends become family; everyone grows up together.
there are more cows than people in Clarke County. I wish I was kidding. Lots of families with young kids or older couples. Everybody knows everybody, lots of people are related and if you don't have a old family name, I'm sorry.
