Chittenden County Reviews

I like the convenience of Burlington and being near the only real city in the state. There's great culture and a lot more to do than in other parts of the state, but close enough to drive all over and to Montreal/Upstate NY. I love how LGBTQ-friendly it is here and the food and art scene. However, I really wish it was more diverse and less expensive. It's impossible to find housing in Burlington and in the whole county housing is overpriced, leading to a huge homelessness problem.
I love this area! Growing up here and experiencing all four seasons and all the activities that go with them was outstanding and so much fun! The food is good, the people are nice, and the scenery is beautiful. Some bigger city people may consider it a little bit sleepy, but I like the pace and the space offered by Vermont!
we have enjoyed living in this area. adequate shopping places to eat and a beautiful outdoor experience.
