I have grown up in Chester County, and everyone here is caring, affectionate, and supportive! I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Living in Chester County really feels like Hannah Montana, living the best of both worlds. In some of the most famous parts of the county, such as West Chester, the ambiance is a more rural/suburban feel. It's a very family-friendly and peaceful community. What's better is the accessibility to Philly. If you're looking for a place where it's not too busy and crowded like the city nor boring and green like the countryside, then this county is the perfect middle ground.
I would like there to be a more diverse population. I would also like there to be more of a focus on nature and outdoor activities. I think the natural landscape of the area has a lot of potential, but many people just don't see it. It would also be nice if more people supported more of the local businesses.
