We have lived in Cherokee County for more than a decade and we love it here! Compared to Metro Atlanta, Cherokee County offered both affordable new Single-Family homes and great schools. We have a police/fire station right in front of our neighborhood which is great. The housing market is looking good with new developments in the Southern part of the county. Cherokee County is a good choice for any family that wants to escape the high house prices of other counties while still have a close proximity to Metro Atlanta.

Cherokee County is indeed nice place to live. A person can go from back woods hill-Billy to big city within a mile. While in the back woods you can see all kinds of farm animals from cows and horses to pigs and turkeys can’t forget the lambs and goats. The roads are taken up with tractors and horse drawn buggies. When heading into the city one can see all sorts of different types of food, from home cooking to fine dining, from sit down and eat to fast food. In the city the houses are spitting distant. One thing I love to do is bowl and the Cherokee lanes with friends.
Cherokee county is a very nice place to settle down and start a family. Cherokee county is a place that you can find peace and tranquility. There are a lot of small diners, and nice places to shop for you and the kids. The people in Cherokee county are nice and friendly but can also be really mean at points.
