Charleston is great place to visit with family and friends, retire, or just to vacation there. It is a very diverse city with lots of local eateries and has an abundance of historical landmarks. You'll never be bored with food or shopping when you come to visit Charleston and the weather is great year round. Great beaches, lots of activities, shopping centers and parks are there for your leisure. If you have never visited Charleston, I would advise you to make a trip at least once and I promise you'll fall in love! But if you don't like the city life, there are other great parts areas that are 15 to 20 minutes away from the city where you can visit or stay like Moncks Corner, Old Summerville, Daniel Island or Mt. Pleasant that may be perfect for you.
