Local residents are very friendly and this part of Nebraska is generally very cheap to live in. There are issues with panhandling in the cities though and vehicle break ins in the smaller towns. I hope to see some of the crime resolved and a bigger variety of jobs available

Just recently we have received a Hyvee and business is booming! Everyone would rather shop at Hyvee than at local grocery shops in the area.
Living here is both a sacrifice and a reward, based on what kind of atmosphere you prefer. If you're looking for a big city vibe that has a lot of action and there are a lot of people around then its not for you. But anyone that enjoys peace and quiet and lots of open space would like it out here.
