Cass County Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 1 review
So many jobs, cheap cost of living. Competitive wages everywhere. The values are conservative in most places, but in bigger towns such as Fargo there are more liberal values in a lot of places. Most people are very tolerant of others. I have heard the school systems are not up to par, and am aware there is no such thing as punishment procedures in many of the schools in this area. Negative behavior is ignored in the loving hands technique, where only positive behavior is acknowledged. While this may be helpful for some, it goes against what is identified in behavioral psychology which does say that punishment can be beneficial for children. There are many parks in this county, including the beautiful lindenwood park, great for summer picnics and the beautiful Christmas light show put on by local businesses each year. We are close enough to big cities for a day trip, yet far enough away that traffic is never bad. Of course you will want to bundle up in the winter.
