Carroll County is not only a great place to live and raise a family, but the school system is "top-notch." Our schools are community-based, which makes the district most appealing, having a family feel to it. District leaders, school administrators, and teachers focus on creating premier learning experiences for students and encouraging them to make the most of the opportunities provided. The importance of building relationships with students and families is a core belief. The school board is supportive in providing state-of-the-art facilities, not just the school buildings themselves, but also performing arts and athletic facilities. The district has two College and Career Academies to serve the interests of high school students. Our district also has a 93% graduation rate, the second-highest in our state of all districts with 5 or more high schools. The school system is always looking for ways to improve, setting goals, and aiming higher for greater student achievement.
I've been living in Carrollton for 8 years and over time, I can tell you things have changed . From the safety in our community to the outrageous cost of living . This is a college town occupied by University of West Georgia graduates and their children. This town is not receptive to progressive ideas and its an major issue in my consideration. Not to mention the upgrades we can use with in; the justice system , incorporating more places for children, establishing small businesses and hosting events to come together as an community to help build this place for many more generations to come. Is just the icing to the cake. Yes Carrollton is a nice place to live in life but within the cracks of Carrollton I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to any one who wants to make something out in life.
In this county you will get pulled over by cops for anything it like the cops are just looking to get someone for anything. They love to target the near by college by the name of University of West Georgia even thought they have their own for of police. Its pretty sad as a college student myself us student are reading with a lot financial, mental, and physically. And to be a target just because we are young is wrong and discriminating
