Carrollton is a pleasant city. The people are polite. It is easy going, a great change from Atlanta. There is virtually no traffic here. Whenever I want to visit, Atlanta is just an hour away. I like the fact that there are a lot of mom and pop shops. There is a cool youth community because of West Georgia University. The Green belt is walking distance from where I live which is great to go jogging. The Lake Carrol is always serene. The downfall I have seen is the lack of a healthy grocery store like Whole foods or Trader Joe's. Good thing the Kroger has a wide selection of healthy options. It would be nice to have somewhere to go to dance.

I have lived in Carroll County all my life and have enjoyed my time here. Almost anything you could need is located here: hospital and other medical services, shopping and restaurants, activities for all ages, close proximity to Atlanta, GA, and many other private and public services are available.
I thoroughly enjoy the area, but the inconsistent weather changes takes some getting used to.
Good place for a family, good schools and good neighbors, but has a lack of things to do. The only business around is restaurants. Most are fast-food chains and not a lot of diversity. This county is stuck in time and that's how it's going to be for a while. A lot of republicans and Trump supporters...
