The local businesses are limiting with their selection and hours open. My town shuts down about 5pm and there is a over priced grocery store that closes at 8pm. The owners are lovely people and they get to know you. The also offer to find and order an grocery item if they don't have it or never heard about the particular item. We have a diner in town that when it open they cooked all types of meals. They had lunch specials during the week. They always had a crowd. You know somebody found fault with everything from hanging special banners for advertising to there being no parking spots. We do have different festivals during the year for kids of all ages. Somebody found fault with that. They are making where we are going to have to travel to other counties to have any entertaining. We recently had a Walmart to open up about 5 miles from us. Unfortunately it caused 2 stores to close. They were really great stores. Now we are getting 4 more large stores! It nice, but, bring in some restaurants, family oriented businesses for our kids. A lot of people fighting to bring these in.

Caroline County is mostly farm and hunting land, but it's a nice spot. About 30 minutes away from Dover, Queenstown, and Chesapeake Community College. Plenty of privacy and fresh air. Can be very scenic.
This area is where I have spent my entire life. I have only ever lived in this one house and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The town is full of friendly people with whom I have become very close with. My best friend of eighteen years lives right next door and if it weren't for our location, we may not even be friends. This is the best place in the world to grow up and I will always consider the small town of Bridgetown to be home.
