I drove through butler county and spend a couple of days there and I enjoyed my stay because it wasn't too busy but at a pace where it was enjoyable. The community is very friendly and helpful in suggesting possible activities you might like, I took in the local shops and dining experience.

Butler County, Alabama is a great place to raise a family or to retire. The only change I would make would the need to be more inclusive.
Butler county is a beautiful county. The only thing I would change is better roads and more places to eat.
