Bucks County Reviews
Rating 4.23 out of 5 62 reviews
Bucks County has many excellent attributes, including scenic beauty, historic landmarks, well-maintained infrastructure and public facilities, and assorted entertainment options. Many areas within Bucks County are also close to Philadelphia, which offers additional options for dining and recreation. My family is especially fond of the state parks. We often visit Tyler State Park to enjoy the hiking trails and covered bridges. We also love to visit New Hope, which has many cultural attractions and a thriving art scene. The town also has strong roots in the LGBTQIA community, which makes it a wonderful place for our family to learn the importance of love in all its permutations. Overall, Bucks County is a clean, safe, inviting place to live. Unfortunately, many Bucks County communities publicly espouse insular, right-wing beliefs that undermine the values of acceptance, diversity, and unity essential to any good community.
My overall experience in Bucks County is decent. There are a low number of things to do in the area. All entertainment is further away, or in the city. I do like the area in the fall time, Becasue of all the trees. But personally I want to live in Florida. Bucks County to me is a good start, with basic amenities. There is always construction going on, and businesses disappearing. But, the school system in Bucks County is one of the best. There are many resources provided by the school, and opportunities that other areas don’t offer. Overall, Bucks County taught me to be who I am today. But, it isn’t my home forever. It is just the beginning step in my life and a starting location to grow.
I like Bucks County a lot. I've lived here all of my life, and many people are friendly or helpful. There are many restaurants and stores throughout Bucks County as well. The public schools are surprisingly good, but the county does have general issues involving politics. The county is very divided, and many may not accept others due to political beliefs. Even schools are divided. An additional issue that needs to be addressed is inclusivity and diversity, both of which are a bit difficult to describe in the area. Diversity is largely absent in schools, which takes a toll on students.
