I enjoy living in Broward County because of the diversity and the safety we have. I do live on the wealthy side of Broward County so the real estate market and affordability is a little bit on the high end. With that being said there is a bunch of A+ schools with amazing teachers who care about your education. Commuting around is perfect there isn't a lot of traffic and most stores are a 10-15 minute drive. I can't really talk about the nightlife because I tend to stay at home with my family. You won't regret living in Broward County!
Broward County has a lot to offer in terms of great restaurants and entertainment. It is very diverse, with a large population of people from other areas of the country and the world. There are many options for shopping and healthy living, which is great! However, there is a huge problem with homelessness in the area. This raises alarms for safety, and can bring down the overall quality of living.
Broward County is one of the most diverse places in Florida, specifically South Florida. Here, you can find pretty much every type of race and ethnicity. Being so, everybody is very different and accepting of each others cultures. We often share and appreciate the Latin and Caribbean culture through community picnics, parties, or even restaurant. From the local beaches to the museum, there's always something interesting to do in Broward. Some traditions in Broward County, or the greater Florida area include the Christmas/holiday celebrations. My favorite part is the assortment of celebrations which help us 'get a feel' of Winter because we continually have high temperatures through Winter. The only downside in Broward would be the negligent drivers, but with great practice its adaptable. Besides that, I would totally recommend living in Broward for the environment and culture.
