Boone County Reviews
I think the only problem with this area is that I've lived here for 18 years, and like any graduated student, am ready to get out and explore new and bigger things. There's nothing wrong with the area itself, and I'd definitely live here again if I got the opportunity. I love the atmosphere, everyone knows everyone else and is usually always willing to help out in whatever way possible. I definitely think that this is one of the most involved areas where if someone is in need, there's sure to be a fundraiser or something of the sort started to try to get them back on their feet and get them what they need. There are also consistently growing opportunities for jobs and new businesses being welcomed into the community. Albion is already great, but it's on its way to becoming even better.
In this day and age, you hear a lot about crime in small towns. But that's not the case here. Albion has an overall very low crime rate and to me, you just feel safe as soon as you enter the town. There's no eerie "should I be afraid of walking alone after dark" feeling. I've walked the streets between the hours of midnight and 2 AM and still felt as safe as I do walking in plain daylight. The police are usually always out patrolling. I usually come across at least one every time I come to town.
You are given a chance to work at your job, but if you are not good at it they have the right to let you go.
