Nice scenery and generally polite people. Depending on your politics, you may feel uncomfortable in the area. (The county is a "second amendment sanctuary").

I may not have grown up in Blount County, TN, but it is hands down the best place I have ever had the pleasure of calling my home. It is a place that makes you feel so welcome and I honestly have nothing negative to say. Next school year is when my oldest will finally join, so hopefully then I will be able to comment towards our school systems and the safety and education that I hope and imagine is exactly what I want for my kids.
I love living in Tennessee! There is beauty in every direction. Its not just about the place, it is also about the people who live here. People in Tennessee are generally nicer and more welcoming.
