I enjoyed living in Bergen County because of the close community interaction. The local town events bring people from all over the county. My grammar school offered many actitives. There was Boy Scouts, baseball, basketball, football, summer camp and as a teenager, Bergen County Cadets. My high school set the stage for me to stat thinking about college. My history teach and I enjoyed many conservation regarding current issues and public views. He stirred my passion for political change. One reason I decided to major in Political Science.

I always feel safe, I remember having Sunday dinners with several neighbor families where we left our doors unlock. With the many parks, there were pony rides, jogging, dog parks. As I became a young man I often went into NYC? Where else can you have both country and city live styles? The count consist of many different nationalities, a true melting pot.
I recommend living in north Jersey. The beauty and fun is great but even better are people.
Review Bergen County
Bergen has been amazing for my family and I for all of our lives, especially me. I've lived here since I entered the 1st grade at age of about 6 years old, so the history I have rooted runs deep. I have four younger siblings and we've all lived in Bergen together, each of us being in middle, high, and post high-school in Bergen. I'm now finishing my undergraduate to receive my bachelor's, planning to move on to my masters. I've lived in Bergen these years I've never wished I lived anywhere else. There's been so many opportunities given to us in Bergen from playing town sports, to extracurricular activities and programs such as kumon learning, instrument play, and much more. This place is one where no matter what there will always be something going, something being implemented into the community. I love the way that Bergen has been able to keep its community active, involved, and the way that it tries to shape it's youth is always something positive to do with ones time.
I have lived in Bergen County almost all my life, and I truly love it here. It is so close to NYC and because it is such a big county there is so much to do; there are scenic and nature option, malls, and local businesses that make each town unique.
