Baltimore County provides a lot of educational tools and programs to their students. I hope they continue to spread awareness of the importance of education past high school. I hope Baltimore County continues elaborating on their COVID19 pandemic relief plan throughout the next year, especially for students! I hope they focus on health disparities among their community members to make a more safe and more inclusive environment.
I love that the community is somewhat safe, and friendly. The neighbors are more like family rather than associates. Everyone is very welcoming and lovely. The one issue that I would like Baltimore County to fix is having more activities or recreation centers around, so that kids have somewhere to go rather than playing on streets that are unsafe. Regarding the school systems, the public schooling could be a lot safer and disciplined. I transferred to a public school after attending public school, up until my 7th grade year. I've found private school to be much more challenging and somewhat more friendly. Overall, Baltimore County is a great place to live, socialize, and go to school; regardless of what news articles or social media says about Baltimore, Maryland.
What I like living in Baltimore County is that there is so much things to do. I especially enjoy going hiking on various trails, seeing the waters of the Chesapeake bay, and encountering many of the diverse wildlife! For the nature lovers, Baltimore County is a great place to live.
