I love Baltimore. I feel safe at most locations there are seedy areas but that's everywhere! I think there are mostly friendly surroundings and people that will help one another. I can't think of much to change Baltimore county, Baltimore city on the other hand could use some help. Not horrible but there is improvements needed such as the homeless and pot holes. I change my mind, I think all of Baltimore needs to work on the homeless issue. There are so many buffets and restaurants that prepare food to have it thrown away at the end of the night when that same food could go to feeding the homeless. Its disgraceful that we waste food that we know could be put to a better use. Help mankind.
I go to school at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I think we need a better public transportation system. We also need some more nightlife options, people my age usually go out in Baltimore City because the nightlife here isn't active. Patapsco State Park is lovely! A great place for a hike and a picnic. I hope there will be more options for vegan/vegetarian centric restaurants in the future. It's a pretty affordable place to live.
