Audubon County Reviews
Audubon is a small Iowa county. Because of the size, it is a very safe place. The entire area is ran by the agriculture industry; most people work as farmers, ranchers, or work for a veterinarian office. The largest pig business in the area employs much of the county's residents. Audubon has little diversity; there is few minority families in the county and no known LGBTQ residents. Also, the majority of the county is Republican or extremely conservative. Because of the population, there is 2 schools in the whole county; many people drive well over 10 miles to get to school. With that, the school systems are very corrupt, favoring activities such as sports or FFA (Future Farmers of America) versus the fine arts and necessary core classes. Students aren't encouraged to go out and see the world; most kids attend an agricultural college, a technical school in the area, or stay in Audubon and farm right after graduation.
