Arlington County is a save neighborhood to live in. The suburban area is really nice, and at the same time you can quickly get to a more lively part, the Ballston Metro area. Tyson's Corner can also easily be reached by bus from certain places in Arlington for those who don't have a car.
Some areas are quite expensive, which does not necessarily impact me directly, since I am a college student living on campus.

Arlington is the smallest county in Virginia. Although it is small, Arlington has plenty to offer. If you want a quick bite to eat, Ballston has recently opened many new and delicious restaurants. Ballston also has a movie theater which provides all the new films you want to watch. You could also head to Pentagon City Mall to catch up with some friends while shopping. From late October to mid-March, Pentagon Row, right next to the mall, an ice skating rink is open to the public. There are also many more restaurants and shops surrounding it. All these attractions are easily accessible through public transportation. ART buses and MetroBuses are running every day all around Arlington. Arlington is also right next to Washington D.C. so it is very easy to visit the national attractions on the weekends.
I love this county so much it is very different from where I come from. I came from Texas where it is the complete opposite. I love Arlington because everyone is healthier, working out , walking, cycling, running, etc. I love that there is many opportunities here with everything and anything. Job opportunities, education, changing lifestyles, overall being positive and amazing. This place changed my life for the better.
