Anderson County Reviews
Rating 4.05 out of 5 61 reviews
Anderson County is a very large and diverse area. I enjoy the surrounding scenery of forests, streams, and waterfalls all a short drive from my home. I also enjoy the passion this community has to keep the town a place full of life and enjoyment for its residents. For example, a vintage arcade was recently opened down the road for me, and they have the best ice cream! Parks are always holding fun events such as musicals, ice skating, etc. Not to mention, I am a short drive from the gorgeous rural town of Clemson, and the intriguing Urban town of Greenville. Two polar opposites to explore at my fingertips! The reason I did not give Anderson County 5 stars is because with its age and great history it carries, it has many slums that were not kept at a 5 star standard. I hope Anderson County works to improve its infrastructure all around to earn 5 stars!
Most people have a really good time in Anderson or a really bad time; there is not a lot of in-between. There isn't a lot to do in this county; most of the time you have to go somewhere else if you really want to have fun. There are a lot of "shady" parts to Anderson too, so you have to be careful where you go when it comes to certain places. If you make good friends, though, you can have a good time. However, it's easy to meet the wrong people. Overall, Anderson isn't one of the best places in the world to live, but it's manageable.
I love Anderson because it's about 20 mins. from my home! You have several grocery story's near us as well as theater if you want to go see a movie, and tons of places to go out to eat. Everyone watches out for each other. We try to keep it a clean place to live.
