Aiken is home. Aiken is not a big place with tall buildings and or shopping malls. We don't have much to do for the teens around town but I have enjoyed the trees, horses, and the warm welcome of those who have been here most of their lives. All places can approve, especially on how we treat one another as a whole, but I feel everyone is always welcome in Aiken!

Overall good community, but has very few activities for teens and families in town. For dining, lots of fast food and/or chain options with little variety in sit-down restaurants.
This has been a great adjustment for our family from an overcrowded city lifestyle. Aiken county is a true gem and representation of southern charm. It’s diverse here, more than ever before. I love to see the mixture of cultures couples with old, southern charm.
