We don't have public buses (school buses excluded) or trains, we are a small town. But cars, bikes and walking are the top options and there isn't any problem with any of those.
Summer can be dry and hot but is over all enjoyable. Spring is normal, Fall is normal. Winters can be below 0 degrees some days but we have had wet winters too. Typical Michigan wether.
