Very segregated social groups. Burr Ridge does have more diversity than many other affluent Chicago suburbs, however, these groups are extremely exclusive and rude to those outside their culture.

I love Harvester Park. I live about two blocks away, and my entire childhood has been on those play-sets. I was born in 2001, this is when the park was beginning to grow, my older sister even attended pre-school there. My family would take nightly walks down harvester drive and explore what is now the wetlands. I'm excited for the park to expand more into the community and grow. I have a strong tie to this neighborhood.
It is wonderful to have nature around you, peace and serenity, while also being 25 minutes from downtown Chicago. I lived in the city for many years, and purchased a home here when I started a family. It is more enjoyable and easier to get places from here than I ever imagined. The schools are excellent and the Park District is top notch. It's still a bit of a hidden gem, which I like.
