Burlington Township is a pretty good place to live if you make the most out of it. There’s parks, coffee shops, food options close by, and many other family friendly things. Taxes and home prices are pretty high but are low compared to other places in NJ. The real estate market here is great and pretty much anybody can find a decent home. East Burlington(the other side of Burlington Township) is full of older people and people with grown children. You won’t find many younger kids and teens unless you’re in the middle class part with $400k+ homes. The other side of Burlington Township has many beautiful homes of all prices with a lot of children of all ages. The schools, stores, and food are also located on this side. You will be safe as long as you avoid living in Burlington City. The people who live there make it hard to enjoy the ice cream shops, waterfront, parks, historic homes along with a waterfront restaurant.
Burlington Township has been my home for my entire life. There has never been a time where I felt unsafe. If you enjoy a small, quiet community, this is the town for you. The school systems are great and provide students with a variety of opportunities. The shops and grocery stores are in close range. Lastly, the sense of community within the town is fierce.
I moved to Burlington township 5months ago and so far I love it! The area is safe and quiet and I would highly recommend living here. There are activities and people really try to maintain it and keep it looking beautiful. Too bad Burlington city is crap. I could totally see it looking like down town Haddonfield but sadly the type of ppl that live there will never make that happen. Overall, Burlington township is a great place to live
