Well there is a store by us called Grandview Grocery it is located on Grandview Ave. Compared to Walmart the prices are more than half the price. And since my mom loves all children and has taken in many as her own she has had to cut cost as much as possible. She works two jobs just to pay the bills and still is able to help and take in two children that are not hers as her own. I know after going there the many reason she goes to this store. I know the prices are one thing but the other is how nice the owner is and you don't see many other stores that are down to earth like that anymore. Walmart most of the time you can't even find someone to help you more less be nice and helpful. They also own a lumber yard and again they put Lowe's to shame with there kindness and prices. I am so glad I live in this area and these two businesses are in our area. I would appreciate any amount of scholarships I can get to help my mom with all cost.
There is many places to ride bikes if you go over to huntington which is about 15 minutes from my house. Parking is everywhere and alot of it. We can take a TTA bus to alot of places within 45 minutes of our house. High congested areas we have a few that I feel like they need to put in some lights to help the problems.
Landslides due to rain taking out roadways is our biggest problem.
