Burleson is my hometown! I'm very excited about the new changes and buildings, as they will significantly improve my experience and opportunities here. I can genuinely say that Burleson is a beautiful town, and I love it with all my heart.
I’ve lived here my whole life. And I’m not sure why everyone talks so highly of this town.
The schools are awful unless you’re a cheerleader or a football player, you will be abused, (physically and mentally) and the teachers will treat you terribly.
It’s a town of intolerance, and unless you fit a certain “ small country town” image, you will be looked down upon.
as far as crime goes, anybody who spends any kind of time on any of the community pages will see how bad theft and Home brake ins have gotten in the past five years. You can’t even drive down to Home Depot or target without somebody trying to steal your car. And you have people coming through from Fort Worth and Arlington with severe road rage and almost every week we have people getting shot in the streets.
The city officials are extremely negligent and are more worried about keeping out tattoo shops, then actually fixing the problems we have here in town.
The only benefit this town has is it’s close to everything.

Burleson is such an exciting place to live since we are so close to DFW! There are activities all around us as we continue to grow. Burleson has recently built a city square similar to Sundance Square in Fort Worth where we can play outdoors, attend festivals and concerts, and shop until we drop! We have our own small lake with trials all around us that make for an adventure to spend the day at! We are even home to a sister school of Texas Tech called Hill College where you can great degree in a small town with lots of jobs, but you're still right in between country and city life so it's great for college students!
