The food and drink options in town are great! There is only one chain restaurant, which is a subway. The rest are locally owned. There are several mexican restaurants, several steak and cheeseburger type restaurants, and various ethnic foods.
All of the local shops are excellent, because they have to be to make it in a small town. Most of the restaurants are not chain, instead they are locally owned and the food is always great! We have a subway but that is the only mainstream restaurant in town. We have a City Market and an Alco but Walmart is in the next town over.
The people in this area are usually very active. It is a small town so many of the high school students participate in multiple sports. We are in the middle of the rocky mountains so everyone loves to hike, raft, kayak, and swim in the summers. We also have some excellent fitness facilities, even though they may be small in comparison to those in the cities.
