Small community feel with big prospects. I love living so central to 3 cities: Bangor, Ellsworth and Belfast.
Review Bucksport
Maine is known as a great place to go outdoors, explore the woods, hike mountains, and go on camping trips. Close to Bucksport is the Wildlands, a section of land reserved as a wildlife habitat. Here there is a gravel road running through it with trails going off into the woods for hiking. Not to far away from Bucksport is Acadia National Park which is know nationally for it's beauty. If you want to get away from everything and just be in the woods, you can head up to Baxter State Park and enjoy some challenging hiking on Katahdin or some easier trails throughout the entirety of Baxter. Bucksport has plenty to choose from if people want to get outside and have some fun, but you may need to be willing to drive a bit.
There are a decent amount of small privately owned restaurants in Bucksport. They all are very good restaurants with good reputations. For favorite dishes in the area, I'd have to say seafood in general because we have two restaurants centering on seafood menus. There is a decent variety of restaurants for our small town.

Bucksport has no nightlife at all. After 8:00, everyone is off of main street.
