I absolutely love Buckhannon WV. I am originally from California and as a little girl I always dreamed of living in the mountains and enjoying the winter – I get this and so much more in this town. It is gorgeous and during the winter downtown is an adorable Christmas tree town and I love it! The wildlife is amazing, and state parks near Buckhannon and even the culture are wonderful! My most favorite part is the Strawberry Festival, which is held in early spring and features many different strawberry based dishes. Buckhannon is also home to the West Virginia Wesleyan College proving this little slice of heaven with the college town atmosphere with the amazing, wild and wonderful down home culture.
Review Buckhannon
Buckhannon is a nice small, quiet town. Not alot of job opportunity and real estate is terrible. Nice friendly community!
Great small town, lots of local shops. Also within reasonable distance between Elkins and Clarksburg.
