Crime & Safety
Buckfield is a quaint little town found on the Nezinscot River, full of the classic New England farm town charm as well as helpful caring residents.
It would be a whole lot better if there was actual public transportation in the area. The only way to get around is if you have a vehicle, someone you know has a vehicle and will give you rides, or you walk. Though there is the occasional biker, it's pretty rare. People don't usually watch out for pedestrians and assume that the person walking is the one who will stop, not the person driving. With such a small town there really isn't much parking though you make do with what you're given.
There isn't really any crime. Occasionally you'll see the stray cop car cruising around, but with little to no crime they aren't really needed. The only thing is the possession of marijuana by many of the teenagers and more than a few of the adults. Though this doesn't interfere with anyones safety.
