    Buchanan Reviews

Buchanan is a very small family friendly town. It has a population of around 450 and it's mostly people over 40. My dad grew up in this town as did most of my other family. It has 2 red lights and no fast food places unless you classify subway as fast food. No drive through though. It is very historical looking with an old-timey like feel. The courthouse that was used back in the late 1800's and early 1900's still sits in the middle of the town and is now the library. Many people from other places have come to see the courthouse. The rapper's the Ying Yang Twins even shot a music video in the Buchanan city library. That was a very interesting experience. I like the safe and home town feeling of this town. Literally everyone knows everyone. All the people eat breakfast at the one restaurant in town. If I could change anything about Buchanan it would definitely be the lack of fast food places and choices of regular restaurants.
Families have been here for generations
Medical care is lacking and recreation center is rarely open
