Eddy is a small city will approximately 2,000 residents. The people there are country folk with a helping hand always open. There are small plains with livestock around every corner. Overall, I love the genuine Texas experience you feel when greeted at the little wooden sign at the entrance to this unique town. Just make sure you don't pronounce pecan "Pea-KHAN", otherwise you might be arguing all night long!
What I like about Bruceville is that its quiet and peaceful. Though there isn't much to do is what I don't like.
The people in this community are very supportive of the school district. The small businesses are very friendly.
Bruceville-Eddy is a peaceful, country town. Most people keep to themselves but when in need, someone usually steps up to offer assistance.
I moved to this town about two years ago and don't ever want to leave I have enjoyed my time in this town mainly due to how friendly and spread out this town is I lived in the city my whole life but now that i have lived in the country I will never live in the city
Baylor University seems pretty safe, but around campus is sketchy. There are constantly campus police roaming throughout campus, but eight off campus, the neighborhoods and shops appear somewhat dangerous. I would not walk alone at night on campus, but especially off campus.
I LOVE the atmosphere here at Baylor University! It is always very exciting around campus, and the longer I live on campus the more I am loving Waco. Waco is full of little hidden gems that are very fun exciting to do with friends. I love that Waco is getting more and more national attention and that people are beginning to see the beauty that already existed in Waco.
