Current resident. Nice retirement community that is becoming more up to date. Adding new businesses that I think will help with the job market because availability for employment is low.
    Review Brownfield
Brownfield is a small town, not so much to do here. There isn't that many shopping places and the ones we do have our expensive so I really don't shop here. The grocery store is great, That's were I have been working for almost 3 years already. There are small stores but not the type of stores for teens to go. You can't get everything here. If you need certain things you would have to drive to lubbock which is 30 minutes away.
Every day at noon the town test their tornado and other natural disaster sirens. We are in an area where drought is most common and we need a better plan on how to fix that problem. We also need to be constantly prepared due to dramatic weather changes through out the week, it could be eighty degrees and sunny and the next day be snowing and below freezing. I would like to see and improvement in the way things are dealt with in the town so that we may all continue to stay safe.
