People here are typically nice. Not the highest income area, but very personable and compassionate. Schools are nice, and there are plenty of places to go for any occasion- getting food, riding a bike, shopping, and definitely getting a new car- if you poke your head around the area just a bit.
Review Brooklyn Park
I live directly across from a police station and it takes them 45 minutes to arrive to my house. The heroin and narcotic epidemic is extremely prevalent in my area and nothing is done about it. A lot worse crime happens about two minutes away from my home (murders, robberies) in the area closer to Baltimore city. However, my direct street is not as bad as others and has seen less crime due to the police station.
It is absolutely fantastic being in close proximity to Baltimore and Annapolis. However, since I am very close to Baltimore city I find that urban sprawl occurs causing the area to be less desirable than it was when I was growing up. More diversity has reached my area and former high school but I certainly feel like crime has gone up in recent years because of this phenomenon.
