Brookhaven is great! It is very up and coming so a lot of recent college grads and young families live in the area. It is cheaper than living in Buckhead, yet it is only 5-10 minutes from Buckhead. There are so many new restaurants, grocery stores, gyms, coffee shops, nail salons, hair salons, etc. that are all within a 5-10 minute drive or even a short walk from the Brookhaven neighborhoods. There are things to do for all ages whether it be dog parks, kid parks, bars, restaurants, or spas. It is not too loud but it is close enough to the heart of Atlanta to where it is not boring.

Brookhaven is an established suburban-esque neighborhood, sandwiched between trendy Chamblee and upscale Buckhead. It's safe, quiet, and very conveniently located with great restaurants and shopping nearby.
I loved this neighborhood growing up as a small child and I do love the differences it has now but, it seems all of my memories are gone. I love that it is much safer, I love the new demographic of family that is being shown but, I don't like that the realtors try to buy you out of the neighborhood instead of helping you think of ways you could stay in your neighborhood with an upgraded home that would sufficient until the time of sale. Absolutely love this neighborhood nonetheless!
