Broad Brook has been my home for all 17 years of my life. The community is safe, welcoming and perfect for family life. I've always loved the small community, as soon as you leave the house you're guaranteed to see a friendly face you know well. The only thing I wish I could change about Broad Brook/ East Windsor is the support on our public schools. Budget cuts due to adults voting no on the budget has been detrimental to our small school system.
Broad Brook is a quaint little neighborhood whose homes are mostly dominated with traditional Colonial style. Living here is as if you had stepped into a sitcom of a blue collared town, where everyone knows everyone's name. There are local favorites and colorful characters that dot this town. It is easy to feel the overall simple life lifestyle. From fishing in the Broad Brook pond, to hitting the night out in town visiting the historic opera house on Main St. If you crave the olden days feel (as some of its mentalities), Broad Brook is the perfect town to build your nest.
I have lived in this area my whole life and has never had any issues with the environment. The neighbors are very friendly and become great friends with the people surrounding them. It is a smaller town compared to most, so there is a little bit of a drive in order to find brand name stores and entertainment, but it is overall a great place to live.
