Local businesses are varied and well run. On Maine street alone you can find everything from an award winning bistro to an auto repair shop and everything in between. There are a variety of restaurants and pubs but every establishment has it's own niche; there is very little competition. The people are friendly and helpful.
Great bike paths and walking areas but public transportation is almost non-existant.
the old saying, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute, is very true. It changes quickly and there is just enough rain.
