Great place to live tension and stress free. Very reasonable real estate costs providing good value for families. Safety is paramount with outstanding policing by a thoughtful and reasonable police force. The Beaver Area School District provides a tremendous educational experience leading eventually to successful adults. An area of improvement is the need for more shopping and restaurants for convenience of its residents.
Wonderful place to live. Small neighborhood with a close beautiful downtown filled with restaurants and parks. Just a 25 minute drive to the airport and 45 minutes into downtown Pittsburgh.
Beaver PA is a very safe town. The crime rate is low compared to surrounding towns. The police are very visible and are constantly driving through town.
Review Brighton Township
Beaver PA is a great place to raise children. Downtown Beaver reminds me of "Mayberry" from the Andy Griffith Show. It is about 30 miles from Pittsburgh PA, where you can catch a ball game, visit a science center or enjoy museums.
The houses here are beautiful and are well taken care of. All of the homes are close together and each one is different. The residents also take good care of their lawns and flowers and also do a good job of keeping the town clean.
The sense of community is great. Living in a very small town, the residents of Beaver are all very close to one another and known many of the other residents on a first name basis. The residents here are also very willing to help each other and do a very good job of keeping this small town clean and beautiful.
In Beaver, there is very little crime and violence. Living here is also known as living in the "Beaver Bubble" because of how safe and sheltered it is from the outside world. There ate very few instances of crime to speak of, and policing seems thorough regardless of this. There is always an officer present at my high school.
few thing to do over the weekend
It's a good place to have a family, as there is a strong sense of community, there is very little crime, and the schools in the area offer a quality education. There is a lot to do for a new resident, but those who live here long-term may find that there is not much to do.
I feel we are safe.
The job market is solid. Friends have always gone a short amount of time through frictional unemployment.
The local businesses here are essential to our town life. They are well kept and people care about keeping them in business.
