Beautiful town with rural charm, fields, parks and forests for playing and hiking, a lake for boating, ponds for fishing, a quaint main street with fine dining, a deli with the best sandwiches around, a cutting edge library, loads of community events, lots of civic involvement, and incredibly low taxes. A beautiful, rural community located on the southern edge of Litchfield County. Very quiet and private, lots of wooded, natural land, great hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Lovely general store and restaurant in the center of the small town. Very friendly neighbors, lots of nice family activities throughout the year.
