Bridgeport is a beautiful city but it needs a lot of love and care from it's own residents. Residents expect alot things done for them but none would take time to make a change or a difference for themselves and especially for our youths! Too many young lives being taken away just because they want to represent a side of town or what housing complex they are from! Not alot of resources for the youth, that leads them to the gang and the violence. Next thing you know they either in jail or 6 feet underground. Bridgeport, CT can be a better place, if we all residents unite as one community, get involved, and make a difference.

Being the biggest city in CT, Bridgeport hosts Mayor Ganim, an ex-con who faced 140 years in federal prison for swindling the people out of there money during the 1900s returning as mayor and continuing his corruption resulting in the FBI investigating him for a second time. Assisting him is the Bridgeport Police Department, infamous on Youtube for there abuse against regular civilians and racism against blacks. Like seriously, a cop was caught calling African Americans cancer, was fired then subsequently rehired and another cop has been arrested 6x time for abusing his wife and is still on the team. If corrupt leaders aren't trying to hurt you, the gangs are. Nearly got jumped a few years ago. Bridgeport is #3 in CT crime cities and we fight pretty hard to keep that title. I'd like to note that back in the day it was a manufacturing city.
Bridgeport once used to be a powerhouse in the state of ct but slowly it fell off because jobs moved overseas. However, more investors are looking into Bridgeport and more opportunities are arising people say based on stats that Bridgeport will peak within the next decade. This city is very diverse and it offers solid education ranging from vocational to military to magnet programs. The city is also really nice has plenty of trees and plants everywhere that's why it was given the name "Park City". The city is very populated so of course, there's a good amount of momentum and when you live here it feels fast pace. There's always something to do in this city, many activities and things to keep you occupied.
