Briarcliff Manor Reviews

Spent my youth in Briarcliff Manor and loved the area, much to do if one likes being outside. The schools were top notch but one had to work hard to get the top grades, we were definitely challenged for the better. Even though I grew up there, a lot of the kids were a bit entitled and could be mean to the less popular kids. Moved during high school to a larger school in a different state with a broader range of students who were much nicer. Enjoyed school much more then. More diversification & nicer folks. More regular people who didn't judge as much.
Very glad we got to spend our early years there though. Found out how really great the schools were after leaving though. But also very thankful to our folks for moving us to an area with many different kind of people which definitely shaped me into a better person.

Briarcliff is an extremely safe, small town in the suburbs of New York city. I enjoy the access to hiking trails and the outdoors while feeling so safe all of the time. However, it would also be nice if there was more diversity.
Briarcliff is the village you always wanted to grow up in. However, there is a price to pay for that, and so it is pricey. It’s kind of like Mayberry, people live very well, but they are also so entitled that they complain about every little thing. It used to be wonderful 20 years ago before too many NYCers moved in.
