I love this small town because everyone knows eachother, it's almost as if we're one giant family. I also love he beautiful scenery that surrounds my home
Nicely developed quaint downtown in a small community. Cute shops and restaurants . POPULAR FESTIVALS 4X EACH YEAR. All the basics are here including a movie theater (single screen but with current releases) restaurants and fast food (though we can get tired of the same things) good grocery stores, one small Belk for clothes, basic Walmart Kmart Lowe's, local hardware, great pottery shops and local goods.
Had a significant shift in recent years from manufacturing to service, tourism. College and Hospital are largest employers (maybe school systam).
