The City of Bremerton offers great chances to have a career. The largest employer in Bremerton is the U.S. Navy, with a significant naval port Puget Sound Naval Shipyard on the water. The base causes greater traffic after many get out. Transportation around is decent with a ferry connection by one of the largest ferry systems in the world right down the road. The local Highway 3 connects to Highway 16, which heads directly to Tacoma and Interstate 5. The people around here are respectful with great diversity because of the many members of the Armed Forces. News spreads fast around Bremerton despite the 40,000 people within city limits. Housing is expensive but many choose to live here in military housing anyways. The local high school, Bremerton High School, has a large NJROTC unit for any aspiring military members, and also has a huge STEM class selection.

Bremerton WA is a small town. People come here to work or leave. I have lived here for 5 years and most businesses barely make money. The big key to this town is the Navy and the shipyard. Parking around town is very limited.
One thing I love though is Seattle is a ferry ride away and the waterways are nice. Although it rains 8 months out of the year, summers are very beautiful. Winters are nice and mild. Spring and Autumn produce colorful trees that remind you of nature’s beauty.
Bremerton is a great place to live, especially if you love the outdoors! It is located between 3 different national parks, so there is always something to do once you start driving.
