Brandywine is conveniently located less than 25 miles from Virginia and District of Columbia. However, in recent years there has been so much development of new homes, shopping centers, and small businesses that the area has become very congestive . This once quiet and rural area is becoming more like a major city.
I have been a resident of Brandywine for almost 10 years, and in my experience it has been a fairly quiet, and safe environment. Everyone is very polite, and helpful. The town is a very convenient space. There is a Wal-Mart, Safeway, gas stations, a shopping area, and a few restaurants just a few miles away. Very convenient.
I am a recent resident to Brandywine. Even though there is constant construction withing this area, I find this area to be quiet yet friendly with many activities available.
