Brandon is a great little town that is full of things to do for all ages! There are plenty of schools, public transportation, shelters, job opportunities and community based events that keeps the city active and healthy. Although it can be full it always has something to participate in and everything is the most 20 minutes away. I grew up in this town and loved every minute of it.

Brandon, a suburb of Tampa, Florida is accessible to Tampa via: Public Transportation, local streets and freeways. It has a small time feel, with Urban city entertainment. Grocery stores, malls, and shopping are centrally located to residents. Neighbors are multi-cultural and friendly! A few Fortune 500 companies have offices in the area. I have contracted with Coca-Cola and Citi-Bank (which is across the street from Chase Bank). Brandon's access to major freeways, leads residents to other major attractions; from Tampa to Orlando with destinations near and far. Key West is a 4 hour drive south and Jacksonville is a 4 hour drive, north.
Densely populated, and on the rise as each year passes, Brandon’s an odd combination of country & city life. There are mansions built next to $150-$200k homes. As you're sipping your favorite Starbucks beverage, you might be in eye-shot of a cow pasture. The traffic is quite an issue - rush-hour doesn't die down for a few hours. The overall safety of Brandon has not been an issue in my experience. Many schools all throughout Hillsborough County have excellent ratings. My two suggestions for improvement would be to address the imbalance of the influx of people and the slow-moving construction to accommodate them. I’d also remove the inescapable view of the Strip Clubs "planted" all along the main road, Adamo Drive, just along the fringes of where Brandon meets Tampa. Children shouldn’t be exposed to the neon signs of nude silhouettes, as they are en route to earn their education. Brandon has quaint areas tucked away and scattered about, remaining a desirable location.
