Working in Brandermill
Brandermill is Beautiful! I've lived here for 2 decades and can say there's no other place comparable to this HOA. To name a few, Brandermill has 3 pools, two overlook the Swift Creek Reservoir, 6 parks, 15 miles of walking paths, boating center, boat landings, docks, pavillions, gazebos, marina, storage center, community garden, easy access to restaurants, shopping and highways and top rated schools. Many events are planned by the BCA, Fall Festival, Spring Clean Up, Winter Festival, July 4th parade and Fireworks display and much more. The BCA has monthly board meetings that are open to all residents along with committee volunteer meetings throughout the month to help with communication and the needs of residents. I highly recommend Brandermill as a place to live!
I have been living here for 15 years and it is a very safe and diverse suburb. It is in a great location and has good surrounding schools, pools, gyms, and restaurants. This suburb has plenty of outdoor activities like golf, parks, playgrounds, and miles of walking paths!
I love Brandermill because it blends modernity and a 21st century lifestyle with the outdoors. The Swift Creek Reservoir is beautiful year round, and is a great place for recreation and activities. Simply walking on the trails in Brandermill makes you feel as if you are in a state park, but you are only outside of your home! The people are friendly, and it has one of the best locations in Richmond in terms of accessibility for quality. Many of my friends live in the Fox neighborhoods or Woodlake, and they often complain about traffic on Hull Street and back roads, whereas Brandermill is directly off major highways, but still isolated, which makes the morning commute that much easier.
