I've lived in Boynton Beach for majority of my life. I love the comfort of the city, and theres not much violence on the west end, the east side has more violence than desired. Also, I have particular concerns about the health care system. Specifically Bethesda East! Very bad hospital, unfriendly staff, and unclean establishment. I've had multiple experiences and was satisfied with none of them.
Overall, I like where I live very much. Boynton Beach is a very pretty South Florida area, without being too outrageously expensive. I used to live in Lake Worth, and always talked about how much I'd like to move to Boynton. Now that I live here, I am not disappointed. The city has a beachy, artsy character to it. It feels like people here don't take themselves too seriously, which is refreshing. Most people are friendly, or at least courteous. I feel very safe in my community. It feels very family-oriented. The public schools are just OK, which is pretty much everywhere in Florida. Eventually I want to move out of state, but for now, I am satisfied with Boynton Beach.
