I like Bountiful a lot! I love to see the mountains every morning and the people in the community where I live are all friendly. I'm fond of Bountiful Main Street and all the little quaint shops that are there, especially the new ice cream parlor, Blacksmith Icecream! I have everything I need nearby too, like grocery stores, libraries, gas stations, schools, plenty of places to eat and hang out, and even a bowling alley! My favorite places to go are Game Haven and Fizz, which both are within a mile or two from my house. Traffic can be pretty tough around here though as there are a lot of people who live here and the lights can take a bit of time, but that's not something I generally have issues with. All in all, Bountiful is quite the nice place to live in!
I grew up there since I was 8 as a Hispanic, Christian, girl. Overall a great city lots of shops in bountiful or a city over and if you want something fancy you can drive 15 min to salt lake. But TOO MANY MORMONS. There is one Christian church and literally a Mormon church every block. I remember growing up and all my friend were so brainwashed. I had some friends from church that were Christian. But from school, I had ONE catholic friend and everyone else was Mormon. It gets kind of annoying. And sometimes the neighbors can be extremely nosey. Diversity sucks too, I knew ZERO black people and ONE Indian girl but that was it.
Great family friendly location, excellent job opportunities, and close proximity to downtown Salt Lake City. Public transportation isn't great, but does exist. Great place to raise a family - schools, jobs, and amenities are extremely helpful and available for families and children.
