Bosque Farms is a wonderful community for rural living. It is a beautiful area along the Rio Grande with many farms and ranches. It has a strong sense of community. I love the ditches and bike paths which I frequently ride my horse on. I also love being so close to the bosque(the woods). I love the birds that are everywhere like cranes, egrets, falcons, and hawks. The diversity varies a lot depending on which part of the community you are in. I would like to see more diverse populations in all of Bosque Farms. All in all it is a wonderful town if you want to live in a rural part of NM.
This town is so small it is considered a village! Many of the residents are friendly and willing to help out. It is mostly quiet with the Rio Grande running to the west and the Sandia and Monzano mountains rising in the east. There are many trails to walk and run on and plenty of room. The only issue I have had is the commute. This town isn't very close to a college.
Bosque farms is a beautiful small community 23 miles south of Albuquerque. Bosque farms has it's own police department, and village offices. Some weakness's of Bosque farms are, police officers need to monitor hwy 47 and more often, the library needs to be more accessible to everyone not just for children, librarian needs to be replaced she is very unpleasant and lacks professional development, counselors need to listen to their constituents from the village. Overall, police officers are available for residential needs, to everyone. Lastly, people are very friendly and helpful each other.
Bosque Farms is a very small town. There is not really that much in the town but is not far from two larger cities. It is a very quiet town.
Bosque Farms, NM is a nice place to live, not too far from Albuquerque metro area, but still in a somewhat rural setting. Fits nicely alongside the Rio Grande valley, very green, lots of horse properties and good quality elementary school. Bosque Farms has its own police department which patrols all neighborhoods and maintains speeding on the main streets. What is lacking is a solid neighborhood grocery store, closest one is 5 miles away.
There are adequate resources nearby for utilities or emergencies, the local representatives currently in office are very good and I strongly agree with their policies
We have avariety of outdoor activities and resources available
We are in a beautiful rural agricultural area, with lots of grassy yards and fields
We have a very dry hot climate, with mild winters
We are growing as a community, and new businesses are bringing in more jobs
We have several long standing small businesses, as well as a good variety of mass market retailers in the area to choose from
I haven't been in the market for long, but it seemed about the same as else where.
