Boonton Reviews

The downtown in Boonton offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and art galleries, and is situated near a few major highways (80, 287). Town activities and events make the area interesting and fun! I have lived in Boonton for a few years and enjoy all it has to offer. Larger stores and gas stations are conveniently located by the downtown so no need to travel far to run errands. I have found the people to be friendly and the overall pace is slower compared to other parts of New Jersey.
Even though it's a small town, there is a lot to do and see in Boonton. In the summer, the farmer's market is open every Sunday where you can purchase produce from local farmers, chat with vendors and hear a local musicians play. There are many events and parades that happen right on main street throughout the year and it is an overall safe area. There are many neighboring parks and trails as well for those who enjoy the outdoors. The only downfall I would say is the difficulty of parking for Boonton residents without a driveway. Parking passes are expensive, depending on where you live and the amount of cars per household, and the parking officer is extremely vigilant of the parking spots and gives out an absurd amount of tickets.
Very friendly town, great local stores and restaurants. Town has a great history, and old beautiful houses. Town activities are always going on. Always something to do! Very safe town
